Falls Detector

A fall detector is a device that automatically detects when someone has fallen (device can only recognise hard falls not gentle or sliding from chairs) and alerts a designated person or a monitoring center. These devices use sensors to identify changes in motion and position that indicate a fall, and they can be worn as a pendant, on a wristband, or clipped to clothing.
