Description
Wakefield Trinity are currently running 3 inclusion rugby teams, and all 3 are actively recruiting for this coming season. No prior rugby experience is necessary and both male and female participants are welcome in all teams!
Please see information of the teams below:
Physical Disability - Currently the best team in the country! This is a competitive, 9 a side version of the game which is still full contact unless your condition means you cannot tackle or be tackled meaning you would play in red shorts and can only tag and be tagged by players to tackle/make a tackle.
Learning Disability - Non contact, tag rugby. This version of the game is aimed at both juniors and adults that have a learning disability. It is non-competitive and embodies inclusivity by ensuring everybody takes part at all times.
Wheelchair - Competitive, 5 a side version of the game. Players are not required to be a wheelchair user as the game is inclusive of both disabled and able-bodied participants. All equipment is provided.
