Lift up friends

Lift up friends is a self advocacy group. They are a confidential friendly group working towards making Wakefield and surrounding area more disability friendly. They also invite speakers from local services to come and deliver information about what is available within the area. Lift up friends organise social outings in order to socialise within community settings along with generate awareness. They work hard to give service user prospective and feedback when invited to do so by NHS and local authorities.

Every Tuesday 1.15pm till 3.15pm at Quaker house in Wakefield.

There is a £1 charge for refreshments.
